記録男　中田翔　イースタン本塁打記録を樹立

2009年9月2日、中田がまたもや記録作った。イースタンリーグの湘南線に出場した中田が、27号、28号と2打席連発で放りこんで、巨人の大森と西武のポールが持っていたイースタンホームランを更新。単独一位の記録になった。

相手投手は両打席とも、湘南の小林で、初回の第一打席にレフト場外へ、続く第二打席で左中間へのホームラン。リーグ最多記録に並んだと思った瞬間にあっさりと新記録を更新。。多分、中田にとっては二軍でのホームラン記録なんかは眼中になかったのだと思う。

それにしても、やっぱり、中田は記録男やね。一軍に定着できなくても、きっちりと二軍で記録を作る。この記録は最初から一軍にずっといる選手では作れない記録だから、これもまたありだと思います。

これで、高校通算のホームラン記録、２軍でのホームラン記録とすでに二つの記録をつくったのだから、次は言うまでもなく、王さんが持っている、1シーズン55本の日本記録を狙ってほしい。

今まで、これに達したのは、近鉄時代のローズと西武時代のカブレラの外国人二人だけで日本人では近年松井が作った50本が最高（古くは野村監督の52本）。

なので、中田にはまずこの記録を狙ってほしい。そして、これが破れば、その後はイ・スンヨプが持つ、シーズン56本のアジア記録も狙って欲しい。

中田なら絶対にいけると思う。今シーズンも、もしも、シーズンを通して一軍で出してもらえていたら20本以上はホームランを打っていると思う。優勝争いをしている日本ハム、さらに去年優勝を逃している梨田監督にとっては優勝が至上命題だと思うが、もう少し我慢して一軍で使ってもいいかなー。

まあ、なんしか、中田が一軍に定着する日はそう遠くないと思います。
