中田選手　今年もお疲れ様でした　2009年総括

日本シリーズも巨人の優勝で幕を閉じまして、今年も野球のシーズンが終わってしまいましたね。

厳密に言うと後、巨人対KIAタイガースのアジアシリーズが残っているのですが、多分巨人が勝ちますし、結構どうでもいい感じですので今年ももう終わったと言う事にしましょう。

今年も一年、お疲れさんでしたー。

まあ来年のキャンプまでは、誰がどこに飛ばされたのか・・・とか、どいつがいくら稼いだか・・・とか、誰が球団ともめてる・・・だとか、そんなダークな話題が中心になって行きますが、中田の情報もゲットできれば更新したいと思ってますのでたまには覗いてくださいね。

その前にまずは中田の2009年総括と来年に向けての話を少し書きたいと思います。

下の表は中田の2009年度の一軍、二軍での成績になります。
まとめましたので、見てみてください。

この結果から漠然とした事言うと、「二軍では文句なし、一軍ではイチマチ」だっと言う事ですかね。

でも前年度よりは明らかに成長している事は確かです。今年は二軍での結果になりますが、ホームランと打点の2冠を獲得。しかも、その両方ともがリーグ新記録というおまけまでついています。「たかが二軍での成績だろ！」と言う方もいるかもしれませんが、二軍と言えどレベルの高いプロ野球選手。その中で、素晴らしい成績を残せたと言う事はやはりアマチュア感覚が抜けないまま終了したルーキーイヤーに比べて遥かに成長したと言えるでしょう。

ただ問題は一軍に上がった時の成績ですね。今年は、プロ安打や初打点を記録しましたが、中田らしい豪快な打撃は一軍では見せることが出来ませんでした。一軍投手のレベルの高さや、結果を残さないといけないというプレッシャーなどもあって思うようには行かなかったと思いますが、それらを跳ね除けないとレギュラー奪取は見えてこないですよね。

でも中田の場合「これができればすぐにでも一軍に定着できる」という課題ははっきりしています。

その第一は守備。高橋信二が完全にファーストへコンバートされた事によって中田とポジションがかぶってしまいました。相手はハムの四番。そう簡単に勝てる相手ではないので、ファーストのほかにも守れるポジションを増やす必要がありますね。

また、日本ハムは基本的には守り重視のチームです。なので、レギュラーと呼ばれているメンバーの守備力は非常に高いといえますよね。彼らと中田の守備を比べるとまだまだ大きな差があり、その差を埋めて「これぐらいなら、試合に出しても支障がない」と思われるレベルにまであげないとレギュラーはきついと思います。

シーズン終盤に中田が一軍に上がってきた時も、「ここは中田を代打に」という場面が多々ありましたが、「でもこの後の守備の事を考えると・・・中田はきついか」と思う事がたくさんありました。素人の僕がそう思うくらいですから、ベンチはそれをもっと強く感じていると思います。なので、まずは守備の強化は必須でしょうね。

続いて打撃ですが、これも課題は明白です。中田に対しての攻め方は”助っ人外国人”に対する攻め方とほぼ同じです。「インコースへのボール球を効果的に使い、アウトコースの変化球でしとめる」、または「アウトコースの変化球でカウントを稼ぎ、インコースの早い球で勝負」、そして、「たまにあまり使わないボールを織り交ぜて的を絞られないようする」と基本的にはこれがどのチームもやっている中田対策です。

特に一軍の投手は二軍の投手と比べて制度の高いコントロールを持っています。なので、こういうキャッチャーが意図する理想の攻め方がきちっと出来るんです。恐らく二軍でもこういった中田対策はやっていたでしょうが、投手の制球が悪く甘く入ってくるボールが多かったので打てた部分も大きいと思います。でも一軍投手は厳しいです。そこが弱点と分ると徹底してついてきますので、対応して行くことが必要でしょうね。

では具体的に何が必要なのかというと、やはり「外の変化球を見極める」と「インコースをファールで逃げる」という2点だと思います。これができれば相手が一軍投手であろうと間違いなく勝負ができると思います。

まずは、「外の変化球の見極め」ですが、外の変化球のストライク・ボールを見極められれば、自然とバッター有利のカウントになってくる事が多いです。なので、これをしっかりと見極めてバッター有利のカウントに持ち込めれば、甘いボールがくる確立があがります。たとえ一軍の投手であろうともどうしてもストライクが欲しい時には、ボールが甘くなるのは必然です。なのでその甘くなったボールを狙えば絶対に打てる確率は上がるはずです。

次に、「インコースをファールで逃げる」ですが、追い込まれてからインコースのボールをファールで逃げることが出来れば、相手バッテリーが投げられる球種を狭める事ができます。追い込んでからのインコースというのは基本的に「裏のリード」、つまりバッターの読みの裏をかいたリードなんです。そんな、裏のリードを何球も続ける事は非常にリスキーでバッテリーにとっては凄く勇気がいる事なんです。特にインコースのボールというのは追い込まれて打ち気になってるバッターの格好の的になる可能性もあります。なので、そんなリスクを背負いながら何度もインコースへ来るというのはよっぽどの事がない限り考えにくいのです。

なので、中田も追い込まれてからインコースへ来るこのボールをファールで逃げることが出来るようになれば、得意の外に意識を置けるようになりますし、比較的楽に打てるようになると思います。さらに、相手バッテリーにも「こいつ嫌なバッターだなぁ」と思わせることも出来、精神的に追い詰めて行くことも出来るでしょう。

まあ、長くなりましたが、今年の中田は期待が大きかっただけにちょっと物足りない部分もありましたが、結果をみると本当に良くやったと思います。今年は、「もう一皮むければ一軍定着」という所までは来ましたので、キャンプや自主トレでの努力次第でしょうね。まあ、結果をみると多分年俸は上がると思いますので、オフは存分にはっちゃけて下さい。
