中田代打で出場も無安打

昨日（9月30日）のオリックス戦の8回に中田は小谷野の代打として登場。オリックスのピッチャーは、中田よりも若いルーキーの西。中田は、西の4球目のストレートにつまり、ファーストフライ。この日はこの一打席のみで、いいとこなく終了した。

中田は、やっぱりまだストレートについていけていない部分がありますね。まあ、昨日は中田だけではなかったですが、西の140Ｋｍそこそこのストレートに、中田以外の日ハムの選手もみんな打てずに苦労していました。相当キレがよかったんでしょうね。

中田に対する攻め方は、初球に外のカーブでストライク、2球目に真ん中高目のスライダーでボール、3球目に内のストレートで空振り、そして、4球目の同じコースにきたストレートに詰まりファーストフライ。完全に相手バッテリーの狙い通りでしたね。

まあ、インコースに詰まるのは仕方がないですが、あのコースは、一流選手ならファールで逃げるコースです。中田もあれを無理にフェアグラウンドに飛ばしていくのではなく、一塁側スタンドかバックネットの方角にファールを打てるようになれば、もっと打率が上がってくると思います。これは、打席に多く立って経験していくしかありませんので、打席内で粘りに粘って練習をしていけばいいと思います。

でも、正直、中田には、一打席しかない代打というのは、少しかわいそうですね。若い中田には、一試合4打席のすべてを与えてあげて、実戦経験をつませてあげたいです。先発で出場できれば守備の機会もありますしね。優勝争いをしているチームではそれは難しい事とは思いますが、早く優勝を決めて若手にチャンスを与えて欲しいです。

まあ、今の日ハムは、レギュラーポジションががっちりと決まっていて、なかなか入り込めるポジションがありません。なので、どうしても代打になってしまいがちですが、中田自身でどこかのポジションをでこじ開けていって、そこに居座らないとなかなかレギュラーにはなれませんよね。ここらで、まず自慢の打撃でアピールして、代打の一番手のポジションを不動のものにして、そこからレギュラーを狙うしかないですね。なので、代打では、意識して結果を残しにいった方がいいでしょうね。

さて、今日の予告先発は、日ハムが糸数、オリックスは、近藤。

右ピッチャーなので、中田の先発の可能性は薄いですが、とりあえず、近藤がどんなピッチャーなのか見てみます。

サイドスローともスリークオーターとも言える投球フォーム。シュート気味に曲がるストレートと小さく曲がるスライダー。そして、バッターのタイミングを外すチェンジアップと、右バッターには非常に打ちにくい投手だと思います。こういうピッチャーは、インコースへのストレートは捨てた方がいいでしょう。インコースに来るストレートは、インコースからボール球になるように曲がりますので、打ってもまず前に飛ばないか、飛んでもまともな当たりをするのは難しいでしょうね。

なので、狙うのは、真ん中から外よりのボール、特にストレートは、アウトコースから真ん中に、真ん中からインコースへと曲がり、非常に甘いボールになりがちです。このボールを見逃さずに打っていけばチャンスはあります。

次に、対応しなければならないのがチェンジアップ。このボールもストレートの後に、全く同じコースに投げる、インコースへ早い球と見せかけて投げる等、バリエーションが豊富です。バッターは、タイミングが崩されやすくなりますので、追い込まれるとファールで逃げて行かなければなりません。ただ、カウントを取りに来るボールにも使われますので、これが甘くなれば、十分に一発も狙えます。

最後は、スライダー。横手投げ投手特有のブレーキのある横に曲がるスライダーが特徴的です。この球は、右バッターの場合、引っ張りにいくと必ず引っ掛けてしまいます。センター中心に打っていけば活路は開けると思います。

中田の場合も狙い球は、やはり、真ん中から外よりのストレート。このボールが一番甘くなる確立が高いので、狙って行くのがいいと思います。インコースへ来るストレートは引っ張らずに右方へのファールで粘り、アウトコースに絞って振りぬいて行った方がいいでしょうね。アウトコースに絞ることで、スライダーやチェンジアップにも対応しやすくなりますので、やはり、真ん中から外に意識を集中させた方がいいでしょう。

まあ、右の近藤なので、中田の先発は微妙ですが、ここで結果を残しておかないと、昨日から小谷野が復活していますし、一軍から外される可能性も出てきます。

梨田監督、一軍から外すにしても、もう一度中田に先発のチャンスを！
