中田・これが最終決定「手術を受ける」

左膝の半月板を痛めて治療を続けていた中田が、ついに手術を決断。
この二週間、手術を受けるかどうかで二転三転していた今回の件は、恐らくこれが最終決定になると思います。

まずは、デイリースポーツの記事を紹介します。

４月２１日のイースタン・巨人戦で左ひざ半月板を損傷した日本ハム・中田翔内野手（２１）が４日、１軍の千葉マリンでのロッテ戦後に千葉市内の選手宿舎で球団幹部と話し合い、手術を決断したことを告げた。日程は現時点で未定だが、１０日以降と見られる。

中田は「球団に聞いて」とだけ話し千葉・鎌ケ谷の２軍寮に帰ったが、島田球団代表は「（宿舎に）来る前にある程度気持ちは固まっていたみたい。手術する方向で考えていると話していた」と説明した。

当初、中田は１軍への早期復帰を目指すため手術に否定的だったが、思ったより回復状況が思わしくなかったという。復帰まで２カ月程度かかる見込みで前半戦は絶望的となったが、万全の状態に戻して後半戦に再び勝負をかけることになる。

やっと、これで一連の手術騒動も最終決着です。
今回は、本当に話がコロコロと二転三転し、まるでどこかの総理大臣を見ているようでした。恐らく、これ以降の方針転換はないでしょうし、もうしない方が良いですね。

今回の件に関しては、最終的に、中田の周りにいる大人達が、冷静で客観的な判断をしたんだと思います。野球選手としての将来を重視するのであれば、再発の可能性があるケガは完治させた方が良いと考えるのは当然の事です。球団側は、少々、荒っぽい方法を取りましたが、この判断は、中田にとって一番良かったのではないでしょうか。

しかし、メンタル面での心配は残ります。
今回は、一度、中田に方針を一任しておきながらの方向転換で、中田の意志というのは、通りませんでした。
これを中田がどう受け取り、彼のモチベーションにどのように影響をしてくるか。
人間誰しも、人からさせられるよりも、自分で率先して決めた事の方が頑張りますもんね。

そこはプロだからやるしかないと言われるとそれまでなんでしょうが、球団が中田を納得させるだけの説得を、愛情を持って分かりやすくしてくれたのかどうかは、非常に心配な所です。

まあ、とにかくこれが最終決定！
ここまで話が進めば、もう振り返ることは出来ません！

手術は、恐らく来週中になりそうだとか言ってますので、後は、中田の早期回復・早期復帰を願うのみです。

試合復帰までには、約二ヶ月と考えられているようですので、夏まで中田の勇姿は見られません。
しかし、この間、十分に打撃の問題点を分析して、復帰即一軍を目指して欲しいです。

もう、振り返らずに、前に進もう！
